More about Crinkly Ribbon

Hi everyone! Happy Friday... WooHoo!! I got many things to share today. First... my little one is getting better, thank you for all your concern... you guys ROCK!! Yep, I love my blogging friends. Great to feel connected, loved, and appreciated. :) Big hugs to all of you!!

Do you like crinkly ribbons? I love them and I love making them, you can find video tutorials on YouTube.com. My sweet friend Donna has a link on her blog to a video tutorial, you can visit her blog and get more inspiration!

I'm sharing a picture of the crinkled ribbons I made the other day, I got some all p
retty up and ready to be send to my friends... they make great simple gift for your crafty friends!

If you like your ribbon really crinkly some times like mine, just crinkle it up to a small ball and tie it with a twine while it's wet. I don't have the patient to wait over night for it to dry, so I use the heat gun to dry it. After the ribbon is dry, I like to rub it with the distress inks for a more vintage look. I normally use Tea Dye for darker color ribbons and Antique Linen for lighter color ribbons, you can use any color you like... sky's the limit! :)

Here is a card I made with one of the ribbon.

I made this card with my little girl. Since we couldn't go anywhere when she was really sick, I thought I would made a card with her to lift her spirit. She stamped the images and showed me the placement she liked, I did the rest for her! I hope you enjoy my post today! Have a beautiful weekend!

Supplies: Hero Arts stamps, pearls, note cards, BG dp, PTI card stocks, Copic Markers, Maya Road heart pin, Handmade crinkly ribbons

Your ribbon is gorgeous and I love how you've used it on the cards, beautiful accent!
Your daughter is a natural cardmaker, I love the fun card you've made together! It's perfectly beautiful, of course with a unicorn and a fairy (two of my favorites mythical beings) it has to be! :)
