Purse Card

Today, I have a fun little purse card project to share.

Direction: 1. Begin with a piece of yellow cardstock cut 6 x 12 inches. Score at 4.25, 5.25, 6.25 & 11.25.

2.
Stamp and white emboss on the two larger panels of the scored cardstock.

3. Fold your cardstock so that you have a valley/mountain fold at the bottom and a flap at the top.

4. Place the folded rectangle back into your Scor-Pal and make a small score mark at one and five inches...just a tiny little notch..not a line..this is just to make a mark one inch in from either edge.

5. Place your small score mark on the cutting edge of your trimmer and line up the the bottom corner and cut. You will now have a trapezoid or quadrilateral purse shape.

6. Cut a panel of pink cardstock and use the Eyelet Embossing Border Punch to create a pretty edge.

7. Score .5 inches from the straight edge and adhere to the back of the purse. Adhere the front to the top flap of the purse.

8. Attach the ribbon to the top of the purse using brads to finish the project.

Enjoy The Cup Cake

Hi everyone, Happy Monday! Hope you all had a good weekend. For me, summer is officially over today. My almost 6 years old daughter is back in school today. I can't believe she is in first grade, and she won't be home until 2:30pm everyday! I'm so sad! :( I made a birthday card for her to cheer me up.

La Fleur Couture

A very quick card to share tonight. I love the Lockheart's La Fleur Conture line. I used the Memento Tuxedo Black ink to ink the image (my favorite ink and it works with the Copic marker like a dream), then color the dress with the marker. I also applied some Stickle on the dress to give it a shine.

Interactive Card

A fun interactive card to share this time. I punched out a big circle on the card first and then using a smaller circle punch to create the center images. I sandwich the two smaller circles with a dental floss. I then spin the circle a few times before I close the card, so when the person open the card the circle will spin and show the greeting and the image.

Got Inchies?

Today I'm sharing inchies card. What are inchies you ask? Well, they are simply 1"x1" pieces of art work. This adorable format is very popular for paper crafters to use as pieces to swap and collect.

This inchie image is from the Lockhart's Roses and Daisies Floral Couture line.

Love Ya Always

I made this page for my beautiful mom who lives in Taiwan. She just told me that she won't be able to come visit us in the U. S. anymore, because the 12 hours flight is way too long for her to handle. I want her to know how much I love her and we will try to go visit her soon.

This page is inspired by the very talented Leslie Lightfoot's card and color scheme. You can click here to check it out.

This is a close up picture of the detail. I used the Cuddlebug embossing folder to emboss the circle and the white StanOz ink to stamp on the clear buttons.

Card For My Mom

My mom just told me that she won't be able to come visit us in the U. S. anymore. She is 75 years old and the 12 hours flight from Taiwan is way too long for her to handle. The news makes me very sad, so I made this card for her to let her know how much I love her and miss her.

Make Two Send One

Hi everyone, happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! When I made card, I always like to make an extra one since I have all the material out already. Recently, I have been making those 3x6 cards and they are really addicting. You just use one sheet of 12x12 card stock, you can create four 3x6 cards. You can give or swap three cards and still have one for your library!
