From Layout To Card

Hi beautiful friends! I'm surprised that I'm back so soon! :) I looked at the layout I posted the other day, and couldn't resist making a matching card for a sweet girl. I used the left over scraps from my layout and the adorable stamp from Greeting Farm, and here it is. Enjoy!

I used the distress inks and my trusty color pencils to color the cutie image.

Right Here Right Now

Hi my beautiful friends, I hope you are having a beautiful happy long weekend so far! It's been a long time since my last post; this will be my first post of 2013. I seem to have forgot how to post, so please be gentle with me! :)

There is a BIG change coming my way; it is a bit daunting and scary! However I choose to be open and excited about it, life is always a journey and sometimes you just need to be brave and accept the challenge. The most important thing is to cherish the memories you create with your family right here right now, doesn't matter where you are creating them!

My husband and I decided to move our family to Taiwan in the end of May this year, it's for business and we also think it will be great for our kids to experience different way of living and improve their Chinese. So wish us luck, I will keep you updated about our life in Taiwan. In the meantime I'm busy packing, and will be posting here and there!

I love all the papers on the layout that I'm sharing with you today; they are the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic line. Aren't they just darling? I hope you enjoy it!  Thank you for all your continue support and sweet comments, I love you all!

Finally

Hi my beautiful friends! I hope you are all having a beautiful summer so far! I didn't realize I haven't been blogging for 7 months until my older daughter asked me how come I'm not blogging any more! So here I am, back to the blogging world again.

Today, I have something different to share with you. I haven't been making any card for the past 7 months, can you believe it? However, I didn't stop creating! I've been working on my art journal and back to drawing again, I enjoy turning my drawing into a mix media page and write down my thoughts. Sometimes the words come right out, but sometimes they come later... I truly enjoy creating in my art journal! I'm sharing some of the pages inside my journal with you today. Some are my silly drawing, and some are my mix media pages that involved inks, paints, stamps, and masks. Enjoy!

I hope you like what I share today! Before I leave, I'm sharing a layout I did with the photo booth pictures of me and my two sweeties.

Thank you so much for stopping by as always! I will be back soon to share some more, and maybe a card or two! :)

Happy Time

Hi beautiful friends, hope you are enjoying a happy and beautiful weekend! It's been awhile since my last post, I've been dealing with running noses, coughing, fever, nose bleeding, and vomit... sigh!

Glad to be back today to share a layout with you! I normally don't scrapbook about me, but I wanted to remember this happy and carefree moment when I was riding my daughter's new bike! I haven't been on a bike for at least 10 years, felt really good to ride the bike again! Have you done anything that you haven't done for a while lately? I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks Very Much!

Hi beautiful friends, I hope you are enjoying a happy week so far! I decided to keep my little one home and have her skip preschool and go to kindergarten next year directly. So aside from my kids' piano, drawing, and dance lessons, I'm also spending lots of time doing kids crafts with them... I will share them sometimes! I'm busy but content!

I had some extra time to play, so I made a card to share! I will be focusing on more layouts then cards on my blog from now on, I feel the need to document my kids everyday life... they are growing up too fast and I'm getting old too fast! :) I hope you enjoy my card today! Have a happy and beautiful week!

Night Owl Confession!

Hi beautiful friends! Oh boy... Monday morning is always not easy for me, I hope your morning is beautiful!

A quick layout to share with you today. I have to admit that I'm not a morning person, I have been an night owl ever since I was a child! I'm trying very hard to be a morning person since my little one was born... I really did try hard and still trying, but I think I'm just not going to be one! :) So I need two cups of coffee (or maybe 3 cups) to get me through the day! :) How about you, are you a morning person? I hope you enjoy it! Have a beautiful week!

You Make My Heart Happy

Hi beautiful friends, hope you are having a beautiful week so far! Can you believe it's September already??!! I'm always feeling a bit unsettle in the month of September, it means the summer is over... my kids are back in school, the holiday is coming and the year is going to end soon! Oh boy!! Wish the time can slow down for me, I guess I just need to try me best to make every moment count! :)

Just sharing a simple card that I made for my little one today. I haven't purchase any new stamps for a long time... trying to be good here :), I hope I'm still able to make fresh looking cards with my old stamps to share with you! :) Since this card is for my little one, she insisted that I should put the pink butterfly on the ribbon! :) I think she is right, what do you think?
